Linda Tennen Kushner worked at the Dept. of Justice
Immigration and Naturalization Service as Chief of the Appellate
Division Unit. She then served as Special Assistant U.S.
Attorney to the Department of Justice Federal Courthouse Civil
Division where she prosecuted pornography cases. She presently
serves as Law Guardian and as Assigned Counsel on the Nassau
County Court panels. She has provided bilingual (Spanish) legal
services to the public for the past 16 years and is an advocate for civil rights issues.
