The original exterior of the 1860 Victorian Greek Revival, with balcony and porch, displays wood siding painted white with violet, copper, and ivory trim. Over twenty antique glass windows, hand-stripped entry doors and natural fish scale trim showcase the restoration completed in 2001.

The home's interior has five window bays, hand-stripped wood floors, horse-hair plaster walls and an eclectic mix of fine art paintings with period antiques and contemporary furnishings. An intimate palette enhances the non-chemical and non-smoking environment. Smoking is not permitted.

An intimate and gracious home, the Jones-Pritchett-Grods Home is located two blocks from downtown with its brick sidewalks, historic lighting and benches, and extensive landscaping.

Neighboring homes, circa 1870 - 1920, in the nationally certified historic district, are single family residences that have been restored and are well maintained.

Your Hostess:  is married to a 24 year veteran who served in Iraq.  Linda Mendenhall - is an attorney and has served as Special Assistant U.S. Attorney to the Department of Justice Federal Courthouse Civil Division. She has also provided legal services to the public for the past 16 years.

The aroma of fresh ground coffee and a variety basket of homemade muffins will beckon guests to a three-course gourmet breakfast. Fruit and the entree of the day will be followed by our savory pastries.

Camden has one park which includes softball and baseball fields.  It also operates a boat-launching park on the Alabama River.

Guests may enjoy our Social Hour with local wines and Wisconsin cheeses in front of a toasty wood-burning fire in the formal living room or relaxing with balmy breezes on the front porch. The antique swing on the screened-in-porch offers seclusion to read, relax or just enjoy the sweet scent of gardenia, mimosa, flowering sage, magnolia, and wisteria.

Art exhibits rotate every 2 months to feature the work of certified American Indians, local painters, photographers, potters, quilters, jewelers, wood carvers and stain glass artisans. Refer to homepage for reception dates and other activities such as Tasting Parties.
